This year's season of the mainland premier league kicked-off last weekend at different venues, where soccer fans had a good chance of watching, cheering and assessing their favourite teams after preparations.

This time around each of the league entrants will be fighting hard to at least win or end in a draw so that to be in a good position of the league standings.

It is no doubt that some teams have spent huge sums of shillings for the league preparations with the main goal of clinching the title as well as safeguarding their statuses in the face of the soccer fraternity.

As Ngorongoro Heroes face Kenya tomorrow in the Cecafa U-20 Challenge Cup 2010, the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has called upon soccer stakeholders in the country to give the maximum support for the team to win their remaining matches.

The call comes after the Heroes placed themselves in a difficult situation to advance in the competition after drawing 1-1 against Eritrea last Sunday.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam early this week, TFF Information Officer Florian Kaijage said there were still hopes for the Heroes to excel in the competition if they beat Kenya tomorrow and Sudan on Monday.

"As Tanzanians, let's support our team in their remaining games, because they still have a chance of sailing through." he said.

In the past game, Ngorongoro Heroes were beaten 1-0 by hosts Eritrea in their group led by Uganda who thrashed Rwanda 3-1 early this week.
